Before registering, Please read, and/or have your parents read this policy carefully as it explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information from Children who register on these Sites or Applications. It also explains each parent’s (“Parent”) ability to review, request deletion of, or place certain restrictions on the collection, use, and disclosure of, Personal Information of his/her Children. Users (including Children) may use many aspects of the Application and Site without providing any Personal Information, in which case this Children’s Privacy Policy does not apply.

Trusted parties, such as relatives, teachers, doctors or anyone else whom the Parent or Child has given their childs confidential login credentials to will also be defined as a Parent in the context of this policy.

Our general Privacy Policy, available at applies to all users of this Site and Application and affiliated Sites and Applications listed above who are ages 14 or older, or, who use this Site without registering on this Site. This Children’s Privacy Policy is incorporated into GEOPALZ’s Terms of Use, available at Unless otherwise defined in this Children’s Privacy Policy, capitalized terms will have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Use.

We are required by law to obtain verifiable parental consent in order to collect, use, or disclose Personal Information from Children who are, or have stated they under 13 years old.

When a Child registers for an account, before the account is permanently activated, we require the Parent to verify his/her consent by email immediatley. We do this in compliance of COPPA guidlines through email requesting a Parent to verify Consent via either a Credit Card verification or a verbal confirmation via voice mail to confirm a child’s registration.

By giving consent, a Parent (i) agrees that the Child’s online and applications activities are subject to the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and this Children’s Privacy Policy, and (ii) consents to our collection, use, and limited disclosure of Personal Information collected from the Child as described in this Children’s Privacy Policy. Once such consent is received and processed, we will activate the Child’s account permanently. If permission is not granted the child receives a message upon their next login asking if the email data that they entered for their parents is correct and then asks them to send a final reminder email to their parents for approval. After email has been sent the child's account is then put on suspension until after the parent approves the email request.

“Personal Information” means data that allows someone to identify or contact the Child, including, for example, a Child’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as any other non-public information about the Child that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data.

GeoPalz only collects and uses limited Personal Information from Children within our Applications and Sites in the following ways:

On registration, we ask if the child is over/under 14, if under 14 we ask for the Parent’s email address and, we ask the Child to create a user name, password to access thier account. Once the parent has provided consent, they may add a profile photo.

If the Parent chooses to adjust the childs settings they can also provide deeper data around height, weight, step and run stride for specific calorie burn and distance walked/run data as well as BMI.

Separately, when physical activity data is collected from a users shoe/hip device and is subsequently transferred via phone, we log that data and time stamp at the time of the upload of data as well as the devices ID. None of this data is used or shared with outside 3rd parties outside of our contracted service providers.

We also retain information on the Child’s behalf, such as Goals, the groups, classroom, or specific marathons or events the Child has joined through his/her account, awards and messages that the Child receives using his/her account, the Child’s iBitz or GEOPALZ product registration code if the Child registers his/her GEOPALZ on his/her account, and the steps, miles/points on his/her GEOPALZ. Optionally, if the child or parent desires to see their caloric burn and weight, height, etc also store this data to help educate the Child and Parents on their daily physical activity.

If a Child provides us feedback or contacts us via e-mail, we will collect the Child’s name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, in order to send the Child a reply.

We are prohibited by law from conditioning a Child’s participation in an activity on the Child’s disclosure of more Personal Information from the Child than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity.
