I can't find my code, what should I do?
Please look inside the pedometer holder, which has
the design on the front and the clip on the back, or check on the back
of the actual pedometer. If you still cannot find the code, please send
an email to missingcodes@geopalz.com
with the style Geopal that is missing a code and the location at which
you purchased the Geopal. We'll help you out!
My code was lost or thrown away by accident, what should I do?
Send an email to missingcodes@geopalz.com
with the
style Geopal that is missing a code and the location at which you
purchased the Geopal. We'll help you out!
Click the green 'Register' button on the main
page and you will be asked to enter your code. The next screen will
ask if "you have registered before". Click "Yes" if you have
already purchased a GeoPalz, or "No" if you are new. Set up your
account and you will be ready to go! Please write down your username
and password and keep it somewhere safe. Next time you visit the site,
click 'Login' on the main page to access your account, and enter
your username and password.
How do I wear the Geopal?
Fasten your Geopal in an upright vertical position
on the top of your pants at your hip, or attach to your belt! For
added security, use one of our tether straps to clip it again onto your
pants or belt loop. Please do not attach your GeoPalz to your pocket,
on a slant, or to any other part of your body as this will not
accurately track your steps.
Go to the geopalz.com website and click the Blue
"login" button. Enter your username and password (that you created
when you registered) and click Enter. Once you are logged in you will
see at the top a white box next to the "add steps" button, this is
where you type in your steps that you see on your pedometer then click
the “add steps” button to submit your steps. You should then press
and hold your reset button on your pedometer to clear out your steps
(00000).
What age ranges are Geopalz meant for?
Geopalz are geared towards children ages 5 and up,
but we encourage the entire family to get involved and join in on the
activity!
First go to the geopalz.com website and click the
green register button. Enter the code of your new GeoPalz. The next
screen will ask you if you: "you have registered before?" You then
click "Yes" and enter your username and password that you created
when you registered your first GeoPalz. You can log your steps with
either of your GeoPalz, by going to the dashboard and on the left,
under the image of your current GeoPalz you click "Change GeoPalz".
You can change these at any time.
I registered 2 of my children
under the same account, how can I remove one of them from the account?
Unfortunately, we will need to help you with this.
Please send an email to info@geopalz.com and tell us
1. Your username and password that you used to register your first
child. 2. The design you have and where you purchased your GeoPalz, as
well as the secret code from the second (or third) pedometer, so we can
clear it out or send you a new one.
What do I do if my pedometer stops working?
Please first check to see that you are wearing
your pedometer correctly as mentioned above in the "How do I wear my
GeoPal" section. If you are wearing the product correctly please send
an email to defective@geopalz.com letting us know what style Geopal you
have and where you purchased it and we will work on getting your
replacement pedometer in the mail immediately, free of charge.
First you need to login to your account at the
geopalz.com. Then at the top you will see a tab that says "Prizes",
click on this tab to view the prize wall. See how many points you have
on the upper right side. Then you can scroll up and down through the
shelves on the prize wall to see all the prizes. For a quick view of
how many points for a prize, rest your mouse on top of the prize you
would like to see or click on it. When you click on it, if you have
enough points you will see the "add to basket" button. When you add
a prize to your basket and you are ready to check out, click the
"check out" button on the right side, below your prize. This prize
is free, but you will need to get your parents to come and help enter
their payment information for the shipping & handling charges.
First you must login, then click on the Prizes tab
at the top. You will see your prize basket on the right side of the
Prize wall. You will see that right below the prize is the word
"remove". Click on this and it will be removed from your basket and
the points will go back into your account.
-What do I do if my pedometer does not track steps correctly?
Please first check to see that you are wearing
your pedometer correctly as mentioned above in the "How do I wear my
GeoPal" section. If you are wearing the product correctly please take
a "100 step test". Write down the number that you see on your
pedometer and then walk 50 steps away from your starting point, and
turn around and walk 50 steps back. If the steps counted is not 100
steps (give or take 5 steps), please send an email to
defective@geopalz.com letting us know what style Geopal you have, where
you purchased it and we will work on getting your replacement pedometer
in the mail immediately, free of charge.
First you need to login to your account at the
geopalz.com. Then below your steps and points on the left side of the
page, you will see the "family" button. You can click on this
button. You will see a summary page with your chart of days and steps.
You can click on the round buttons on the chart for the date that you
missed entering your steps. When you select the day, the upper right
hand side, below the tabs will show the date and then an empty box
where you type in the steps you have taken for that day, then click the
"Adj" (Adjust) button. Your steps have now been added.
